About Liquid BBLs
A liquid BBL is a variation of the traditional BBL that uses dermal fillers to provide a more lifted, contoured, and voluminous appearance in the buttocks, all without the use of anesthesia, incisions, or significant recovery time.
To achieve this, our practice uses Promoitalia Skinfill, a type of hyaluronic acid filler that can restore lost volume and stimulate the production of collagen. This filler features Coesix technology, a type of cross-linking technology that increases the effects of the filler without increasing the concentration of cross-linking agents. Before scheduling your treatment, you will need to attend a personal consultation at either our Lake Oswego or Woodburn location. During this time, we will meet with you to discuss what a liquid BBL is, as well as what Promoitalia Skinfill is. We will ask about your medical history, concerns, and treatment goals. A physical examination will also be performed to evaluate the treatment area, as well as your general anatomy.
This information will be used to determine whether a liquid BBL is right for you and create your treatment plan. Certain aspects of your treatment will be customized, such as the amount of filler used and where it will be administered. Preparation
When preparing for your liquid BBL, you will receive a set of instructions. These instructions will be relatively straightforward, but should be followed to ensure optimal results.
You may be instructed to discontinue blood-thinning medications and supplements under medical guidance. Alcohol and nicotine consumption should be ceased in the weeks leading up to your procedure, and certain skincare products should be avoided the day before and the morning of your appointment. It is also important that you stay hydrated and eat balanced, nutritious meals.
Procedure
When you arrive for your procedure, you will be led to a private room where your skin will be cleansed and sanitized. Either a local or a topical anesthetic will be used to minimize any potential discomfort.
We will use a fine needle to administer Promoitalia Skinfill into various areas of the buttocks. The filler may be carefully layered to create a more lifted appearance, enhance your contours, improve symmetry, fill in your hip dips, and more. (2) After the filler is injected, we may gently massage the treated area to make sure it is smooth and evenly distributed.
Recovery
After your procedure, you will be able to return to your routine. However, you may be advised to refrain from engaging in certain activities while your body heals.
You may initially experience some bruising, swelling, or tenderness in the treated area. These effects are temporary and typically subside on their own within two to three days. (3) You should avoid strenuous or physical activities for the time being, as well as sources of excessive heat. Any additional instructions will be provided during your personal consultation.
