BA who lives in Armona is a 33 y/o mother of 3 children who had 3 c/sections. She had complicated pregnancies and gained a lot of weight. Her first pregnancy she had a blood clot in her lower legs. After being almost 90 lbs. heavier with her pregnancies her skin stretched and she had a large overhang.

B.A. had been thinking of having a tummy tuck for a long time. She decided to come in for a consultation at the Aesthetic Laser Center in Fresno. Since she was a light smoker she was advised to quit smoking at least 3 weeks prior to her surgery. She also had a medical consultation since she had a history of blood clots in her legs. Her internist suggested she be on Lovenox, which is a blood thinner to help prevent blood clots since she already had one in her first pregnancy.

B.A. was 5’4” tall and weighed 168 lbs. on the day of her surgery. She had an Avelar tummy tuck with liposuction of her flanks to improve her body contouring. The patient was given daily shots for 3 days to prevent blood clots. B.A. recovered nicely and had no complications. After her swelling went down she had a nice contouring of her flanks and a flatter abdomen. She was 9 lbs. lighter on her postoperative visit at 2 months.
