AP is a 30 y/o mother of 3 children who wanted to her figure back after the birth of her 3 children. After having her last child she wanted the lose skin removed from her lower abdomen and breast feeding all three of her children she felt her breast lost their volume and youthful shape. AP did research on the Internet and found the Avelar tummy tuck procedure and was interested in it. After making an appointment at the Aesthetic Laser Center in Fresno she had surgical consultation with her friend JG who also had the same concerns as her herself and interested in the same procedure.

AP was 5’7” and weighed 174 lbs on her initial visit. She intended to lose more weight prior to her procedure. AP had lose skin and a small amount of excess fat in her lower abdomen. She was a good candidate for an Avelar tummy tuck procedure. AP asked a lot of questions about the procedures and they were answered to her satisfaction. She was a very informed patient who did her homework prior to her consultation. Her breast had lost a lot of volume and also needed a simultaneous lift at the same time. This would be the trickier and the more complicated procedure of the two. AP decided on the size of the implant prior to the surgery.

AP underwent an Avelar tummy tuck and had saline breast implants placed under the muscle for more coverage along with a vertical lift. She was treated with PRP (platelet rich plasma) on the flap and incisions for faster healing. She also had the Erchonia laser at the time of surgery to help dissolve the fat prior to liposuction. The Erchonia was used after the surgery to help to pain, inflammation and to help prevent skin death of the flaps. The patient healed quickly and was back at work in 2 weeks. She was very pleased with the result.
